It is important to say that life for many people in Madagascar is very difficult and the village of Andriampamaky is no exception.

As we obsreved the plight of so many families we decided that each Friday we would have a meal prepared for 250 of the most needy people in the community at that time.

Anne, a founder and director of Les Pecheurs Internationale developed a recipe for a pasta and vegetable dish which would be nourishing and enjoyable for the recipients.

So each week we pay for people from the community to prepare the meal and one of the citizens whom we admire and respect hands out cards to those people and families whom we think are in most need at that time.

This has proven to be a great success and we have been told that for many of the recipients this is the only decent meal they get for that week.
